  7. Get to taste Salt
  8. Prepare 2 tbsp Curd

Instructions to make Sprouts Appam (Healthy Breakfast):
  1. Wash and soak urad dal overnight. Strain the water add garlic cloves, green chilli and make a smooth purée of it, in a grinder jar.
  2. Now in the same jar add mixed sprouts and grind to a coarse paste.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add both the purée and the paste. Add salt and cumin powder. Add curd and Mix well. Let it sit for 20 mins. Add water if required for pouring consistency.
  4. Now take a greased appam pan, heat it. Once heated add spoonful batter in each mould, cover and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side as well. And here you go with these delicious, healthy and protein rich sprouts Appam along with Chutney and sauce of your choice.
